GATE – Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering 2010 will be conducted 07 February 2010 & 14 February 2010.
Some Important Information about the GATE 2010 is as mentioned below :
GATE Examination for Textile Engineering and Fibre Science : 07 Feb 2010 (09:30- 12:30)
GATE Examination 2010 for Minging Engineering : 07 Feb 2010 (14:30 – 17:30)
GATE Exam 2010 for other papers than mentioned above : 14 February 2010 (09:30- 12:30)
Pattern of GATE Exam 2010
GATE 2010 exam will be held ONLINE as well as OFFLINE i.e. with the help of computer as well as conventional method of marking the OMR Sheet with pencil. Candidates can go through the instruction and decide whether they want to opt for online examination or offline examination.

How to apply for GATE 2010
Candidates can apply for GATE 2010 in online as well as offline mode. Candidates should read the instruction carefully before applying for the GATE 2010.
The application fee for Online and Offline mode is different i.e. for Online it is Rs. 800 for General and OBC and Rs. 400 for SC, ST and PD Candidates same way application fee for Offline application is Rs. 1000 for General & OBC Candidates and Rs. 500 for ST,SC & PD Candidates. GATE 2010 Syllabi : Syllabi for GATE 2010 can be downloaded from the IIT Guwahati website from the url – http://gate.iitg.ernet.in/syllabi.php , detailed syllabus for gate 2010 exam is given on the above website.
GATE 2010 Results & Score : GATE Results for GATE 2010 will be available on the websites of IITs and IISc website on 15 March 2010 form 10:00 hours.
GATE Score will be valid for 2 years.
